Pasifika Art- Inspired by a trip to the Pacific Islands, this painting is reminiscent of a jungle on the island of Savaii, Samoa, that my family and I trekked. For the adventure, we were clad with one machete and two locals, we climbed crumbling rocky ridges, jumped off waterfalls and waded through rivers, all to reach our little paradise that was tucked away in the corner of Neverland. I remember the sunlight was so thick and golden, that small insects would enter its rays and instantly alight like a flame. They looked like embers floating in a haze.

Waterfall became more a moon-fall,
With molten silvery moon free flowing from the sky into the jungle.
Even silver mist would fall away from its down pour, dousing everything in star dust.
