This painting depicts the feeling of journeying into the unknown. The feeling of jungle drums playing in the distance enchanting your feet to run towards the mystery. What does this painting do for you? This painting inspires a sense of exploration and mystery, it shows you what you could be missing if you don’t take risks in life. A R T I S T  N O T E S

I applied a lot of dry scrubbing to create the textures and values. This piece uses impressionism to subtly exude a dreamlike state, pulling your consciousness into his world. You will notice I love the use of tall canvases with a low centre of gravity. To me, this creates a doorway into a world I have designed, it feels as if you could step right through.
